From the CEO’s desk: Grateful for the small things and the big things

As we close out November, I want to share a quick pulse check on the industry and a highlight from within our own THS family.

CoStar’s most recent reads show the U.S. market moving through a softer patch. Occupancy has been trending slightly lower year-over-year, and RevPAR growth has been uneven across many weeks. ADR is holding in several markets, but overall demand in the U.S. remains choppy. International markets, by contrast, continue to show stronger momentum, with several regions seeing healthy RevPAR gains and steadier demand patterns.

For those of you on property, this reflects what many of you are already feeling: a competitive environment where consistency and guest experience matter more than ever.

Shifting focus, we had a great surprise this month when James Jensen, a THS consultant, stopped by the corporate office and shared a meal with the team. It’s always a gift to see one of our own, especially since most consultants are out on the road three to four weeks at a time. James has been completing a general manager assignment at a hotel in nearby Arlington, Texas.

Moments like this remind us why our work matters and why the THS community is special.

Thank you for representing this organization with pride, professionalism and heart. Let’s continue to lead with excellence as we head into the final stretch of the year.
