From the CEO’s desk: Celebrating the women in our industry

March is a meaningful month of recognition and reflection as we celebrate Women's History Month. Established in the United States in 1987, following the earlier recognition of Women's History Week, the month was created to honor the contributions women have made across every sector of society. It is a time to recognize leadership, resilience and the lasting impact women have had in shaping industries, communities and opportunities for future generations.

The hospitality industry, in particular, has been profoundly influenced by the dedication and leadership of women. From operations and guest experiences to corporate leadership and ownership, women continue to shape how hospitality evolves. The industry itself is built on service, care, attention to detail and the ability to create meaningful human connections. These qualities are reflected every day in the work women contribute across hotels, restaurants and travel organizations worldwide.

For those of us at THS, this recognition carries an additional level of significance. Many of the talented consultants representing our organization in the field are women who step into properties across the country to support teams, solve challenges and strengthen operations. They bring expertise, adaptability and professionalism to every assignment, often during moments when hotels need experienced leadership the most. Their impact is felt not only in the results they deliver but in the relationships they build with the teams they serve.

Throughout the month, we will take a moment to recognize the many women whose leadership, expertise and dedication strengthen our organization and the hospitality industry as a whole. Their work reflects the values that guide our company and plays an important role in the impact we have across the partners and properties we support.

Women’s History Month reminds us that progress is built through the collective efforts of those who lead with purpose and commitment. We are proud to celebrate the women of THS and the many women across our industry who continue to elevate hospitality every day.
