A newsletter for and about you

Welcome to Transformation Post, a monthly newsletter, and our way of staying connected to you, our consultants – sharing your stories, celebrating your successes, and keeping you informed on what’s happened at THS.

I started this company in my garage during the pandemic with a simple goal: Change the way task force staffing works in hospitality. After nearly two decades in the industry – including time at Wyndam International and successfully growing three small hospitality consulting and management firms – I saw a chance to do things differently and I was committed to it.

Instead of the standard model of just filling roles – which seemed to be the norm – I took a more thoughtful approach: curating and matching top talent (that’s you!) to the unique needs of each property. So, I set out to build the company I would have wanted to work with and even extended beyond staffing services to lead qualification and business development. THS is now a corporate team of 13 based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

The THS team really gets to know our properties – everything from role requirements to skills and property culture – and equally as important, making sure you’re in a role where you can feel valued.

From the start, we’ve focused on treating our consultants with respect and included as a part of the THS family. After all, you’re the face of the brand, and the work you do every day reflects who we are as a company. Our job is to make sure we support you in every way so you can do your best work, and to recognize the impact you’re making along the way.

Speaking of recognition! To kick off the new year, we’re introducing a Consultant of the Month recognition program in lieu of our Employee Excellence Program. In addition to a spotlight article in Transformation Post, the honoree receives a gift box and gift card from THS. Richard Cook, an executive sous chef who joined the company in 2021, is the first recipient of the THS Consultant of the Month award. He has been on more than 25 assignments across the country, some lasting weeks and many for months (see Consultant of the Month story).
